Receiver extenders are perfect when you need a bit more length to tow your trailer safely. The extenders fit a 2 inch receiver tube. Choose from 2 receiver extenders that allow either 14 or 18 additional inches in length. Note: Extenders will reduce your hitch's overall towing capacity by 50%!

Truck camper needed extra storage, for that the rack needed a reciever extender, this one provided the extra lenght needed to get the rack out from under the camper.

I purchased this to extend my small bow a few inches because In order to get my boat in the water I hat to put my rear tires just slightly into the water. This hitch allows me not to do that, It is easier on my truck and much safer being, I have a lot less risk of my truck slipping down the ramp. The reduced tongue weight of 350lbs scared me a little, but it has not been a problem at all. This extender is the best of the best, still has not rust, very heavy duty, I trust this extender with my boat... nuff said!

I use this with my ATV so I can park my trailer etc in close spaces where my truck couldn't fit.
