Hidden Hitch 1-7/8 inch hitch balls are available in either a great zinc or chrome finish and either 3/4 inch shank diameter or 1 inch shank diameter. The 1-7/8 inch hitch balls have a weight capacity of 2,000 pounds and are available in varying shank lengths to meet your needs. This is a standard hitch ball for most general towing applications and all the hitch balls from Hidden Hitch are designed with wrench flats for better tightening of the hitch ball.
How do you select the correct hitch ball?
Select the correct ball for the coupler on your trailer.
The ball diameter required is stamped into the coupler handle or body.
Ensure the hitch ball shank (shank length) fits the thickness and diameter of hitch ball hole size (shank diameter) of your ball mount/drawbar or step bumper.
