I tend to try to repair/replace parts on my cars and have been for 10 years. I can't remember ever having an easier time installing an after market part. The instructions, the fit and the bolt guide tool were perfct. I'm very happy I choose a Curt hitch.

I was able to get the hitch on my car, by myself with minimum tools. It just fell in place.

The hitch fit nicely onto the CRV frame using existing openings on the underneath frame. It is very secure and I feel comfortable hauling trailers with the hitch. Installation was very easy, excepting for the need to expand two underneath frame openings from about a half inch diameter to about a one inch diameter to allow for the installation bolts to pass through.

The hitch fit like a glove. My initial observation is that it is also very well made. The hitch shop in town could'nt come close. The hitch they got for me mounted to the body. No way am I gonna do that. It has to mount to the frame and the Curt hitch was perfect.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
