Limited Lifetime Warranty Putnam Hitch Products warrants, to the original retail purchaser, its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for so long as product is owned by original purchaser; normal wear and tear, abuse and misuse excepted. Putnam Hitch Product's obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option. To obtain service under this warranty, the purchaser must: Call Trailer Hitches.com and let us know what is the warranty claim and we will contact Putnam to secure a return authorization number. Upon receipt of a return authorization number, return the product, freight charges prepaid, together with a dated proof of purchase receipt to the Customer Service supplied address. Upon receipt of the returned item and verification of proof of purchase, Putnam Hitch Products, if it determines that the defect is not due to normal wear and tear, abuse or misuse, will repair, or at its option, replace and return the item, transportation prepaid, to the owner. Any items replaced by Putnam Hitch Products shall become the property of Putnam Hitch Products. Putnam Hitch Products shall not be liable for the loss of use of vehicles, loss of time, inconvenience, cost or removal and/or installation, or any other incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is expressly in lieu of other warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties and merchantability and fitness. There are no warranties, express or implied, that extend beyond the warranty period. This warranty shall be void if the product has been altered, abused, or misused. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and/or exclusions may not apply to you.
